Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you will be met by our private driver who will escort you to your accommodation where you can rest and acclimatise to the vibrant pace of the city getting ready for your 6 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert. The rest of the day is free for you to start discovering the charms of Marrakech at your own pace, from getting lost in the exquisite souks to enjoying a traditional dinner in the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, the beating heart of the city.

After an early breakfast, we will head into the majestic High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. During the 6 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert, we will stop at Ait Benhaddou, an adobe fortress recognized as a World Heritage Site, which has been the scene of numerous films. We continue to Ouarzazate, known as the ‘Gateway to the Desert’, and then head to the Valley of Roses, famous for its natural beauty and rose plantations. Finally, we arrive at the Dades Gorges, where we spend the night in a cosy riad, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.

Today's 6 days desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga desert begins with a visit to the spectacular Todra Gorges, a breathtaking canyon whose vertical walls reach up to 300 metres high. Continue to Merzouga, a small oasis in the Sahara desert, where you will change to camels for a ride through the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Upon arrival at the desert camp, you will enjoy a traditional Berber dinner under the stars, accompanied by local music and the majestic silence of the Sahara, an experience that will remain etched in your memory.

4x4 excursion in Merzouga desert

After breakfast at the camp, we will embark on a 4x4 excursion to explore the remote corners of the Merzouga desert. We will visit nomadic villages, fossil mines and the dry lake of Dayet Srij, a place of great natural beauty. You will have free time to relax in the desert or do optional activities such as sandboarding or quad biking in the dunes. In the evening, you will return to a riad near Merzouga to rest in a peaceful environment.

Along the way, you will see the mud kasbahs that have witnessed centuries of history. We will arrive in Ouarzazate in the afternoon, where you can visit the famous film studios that have been the backdrop for major film productions. Overnight in a traditional riad in the city.
